This ONE-DAY workshop is designed for photographers looking to refine their approach to culinary storytelling - all within a REAL working restaurant environment.

We'll begin early in the day with a relaxed welcome and cover my approach to on site food photography, including styling and how to create images that feel both elevated and honest - everything we shoot is edible.

From there, we will move into hands-on portfolio building experience in a real restaurant setting, experiencing a real service, but with exclusive access to the space to allow for maximum creativity in a safe place.

MEET OUT HOSTS

Proprietors and curators of exemplary culinary based hospitality, Chef Jonathan Gushue and Jennifer Belanger of The Gate (our location in Flesherton) and The Judge (save for another time).

Their thoughtful approach to hospitality paired with their years working within the culinary industry makes them an inspired duo. Together their talents create the perfect environment for observing and capturing the quiet nuances of service. Where every detail, from plating to atmosphere, is intentional and story-driven. I am certain you will leave with a plan to revisit them again soon.
